Active Weight Loss

Structure Without Overwhelming Your Schedule

$315per month · visits every 2 weeks

This is our most popular program, built for patients committed to losing weight who do well with regular check-ins. Visits every two weeks keep you accountable and let Dr. Larimer adjust your plan as your body responds.

Your care begins with a comprehensive evaluation lasting 90 to 120 minutes. It includes an InBody body composition scan and review with you, a baseline health assessment, and a physical exam. Lastly, a personal education session. Our goal is for you to feel informed and in control of your weight loss and your health. We’ll cover:

  • Your medication options: how each anti-obesity medication works, its possible side effects, and what it costs, so you have a real voice in choosing what you take
  • Hunger and cravings: the different kinds of hunger and urges, and why some may remain even with effective medication
  • Everyday behaviors: how sleep, eating habits, and other lifestyle factors affect your results
  • Your inner voice: how self-doubt and negative self-talk can influence your progress, and how to work through them

This is active weight loss with professional accountability.

Who it’s for

Anyone ready to get help improving their health and weight. A brief, free consult tells us whether this is the right fit.

Intense Active Weight Loss

Weight Loss Is Medical, Behavioral and Emotional

$625per month · visits every 1–2 weeks

GMOS Clinic always treats the whole person: your body, your mind, and the patterns that brought you here. This high-level program addresses much more than the average weight loss program. You get extra time with Dr. Larimer and her staff. We use simple, proven tests to check your physical strength, and we monitor and follow your metabolic health. Dr. Larimer will gladly work with you on the psychological and behavioral issues around your weight, not just the number on the scale.

Most weight-loss programs ignore that side: the beliefs, shame spirals and self-criticism that drive overeating. Here, behavioral health is part of every visit, and there is no extra charge for longer visits or extra counseling, so there is room for real conversations instead of rushed 15-minute check-ins.

Your visits with Dr. Larimer include:

  • Adjusting your medications to maximize weight loss while minimizing side effects
  • Reviewing your eating and physical activity habits, and fitting better choices into your busy work and family life
  • Addressing difficult eating patterns, such as binge or emotional eating, through medication changes and habit discussions
  • When needed, letting go of self-criticism and the false belief that your weight reflects “bad” behavior
  • Monitoring your physical health with simple, proven tests at the start and regularly as you get healthier
  • Monitoring your metabolic health at the start and every 6 months

Dr. Larimer has prescribed GLP-1 medications for weight loss for six years, and works with each patient to find the right medications and dosing. You’re not just losing weight. You’re changing your relationship with food, your body and yourself.

Limited availability

This program is designed for patients with more complex needs who want more intensive medical attention. To give each member the time they need, we are currently limiting enrollment to ten patients at a time. Every new member begins with a consultation, so ask whether an opening is available.

Weight Loss Maintenance

Keeping It Off Is the Part Most People Struggle With

$185per month · visits every 4 weeks · for weight maintenance

You’ve done the hard work and reached your goal. Maintenance is designed to help you keep it: active support at a less intensive level, with visits every four weeks that keep you connected to professional oversight without the cost of more frequent appointments.

This membership is for maintaining weight, not for continued weight loss. If you’d like to lose more, Dr. Larimer will talk with you about your goals, and we’ll build that into your care or move you back to Active Weight Loss.

It’s for people who understand that managing weight is a lifelong practice. There’s no enrollment fee, and if your goals shift or you need more support, just let us know.

Who it’s for

Continuing patients who have reached their weight-loss goal and want clinical support to maintain it. If you want to return to active weight loss, Dr. Larimer will discuss it with you.

The details

How Membership Works

_

Start With a Free Consult

New patients begin with a brief, free consult. We review your medical and weight history and help you choose the program that fits. BMI alone can miss metabolic disease, so we look at the whole picture, not one number.

In the Office and by Telehealth

On Active Weight Loss and Intense Active Weight Loss, your first 2–3 visits are in the office for testing and training. On Maintenance, you are seen every 4 weeks. After your first visits, we are happy to see you by telehealth if you prefer. In-person visits are still required so we can accurately track your progress and complete any other needed testing. Dr. Larimer sets the frequency of in-person visits based on your medical situation and needs.

Joining and Leaving

Active Weight Loss and Intense Active Weight Loss are one-year contracts with a $50 enrollment fee and a $200 cancellation fee if canceled within the first 9 months.* After the first year, you may cancel at any time with 30 days’ written notice. Maintenance has no enrollment fee; you may cancel any time with 30 days’ written notice.

*Cancellation due to health or other issues? Talk with us about other options, including putting your account on hold.
If you won’t be staying in the area for the full year, let us know.

Paying Your Dues

Dues are charged monthly to a credit card we keep on file, stored offline and never on an internet-connected device. Missed payments can mean added fees or loss of membership. Pay for the year up front and save 10%.

Why a membership

Time, Not Transactions

All care here is a direct relationship between you and GMOS Clinic. To spend real time with every patient, we do not accept insurance. Billing it would mean shorter, rushed visits and someone else deciding what your care looks like.

A membership also changes the incentives. Your visits are already covered, so nobody is counting appointments, and there is no charge when you have to miss one. What you are paying for is a physician’s ongoing attention to a chronic disease, not a series of transactions.

Ways to pay

You’re worth it

You Deserve This

Have you spent years putting everyone else first? You deserve to take care of yourself, and your family deserves you around for many more years! These memberships are worth the cost, but more importantly, you are worth it, and you deserve this.
